Electronic Resources & Libraries 2013

Electronic Resources & Libraries is a conference for information professionals who manage electronic resources. If you do anything work related to the e-resources life cycle, you should be there. Not only is it a great conference with useful sessions (both big picture and small), they have the best snacks.

I attended in person last year and as a new professional working with e-resources, it was hands down the best conference I’ve ever been to. This year my professional development money was spent elsewhere, but I was able to participate in the online conference. I have to say, ER&L has conference streaming down. Everything went super smoothly and there are enough ER&L tweeps on Twitter that I still felt like I was participating in the conversation.

I’m going to post notes for some of the sessions I attended (virtually) over the next few days.

I’ll be trying out NASIG this year in Buffalo — curious to see what that conference is like!
